Geocaching Project

The Sunderland & District Historical Society has undertaken to place a number of geocaches that recognize sites of historical significance to our community. Geocaching is fun and engages individuals and families in healthy outdoor activity. Thanks to Canadian Heritage for its support of this project.

In addition to healthy exercise, by finding our caches you will learn of our community's proud history. Click on the image to the left for a listing of our geocaches. All you need is a phone.

Activities for Schools

Dousing Demonstration: Dousing was used to locate the well site on many of the farms in Brock Township. To arrange a demonstration on dousing and the science behind it, give us a call or send a note.
